Prerequisite: Pre-Calculus. Open to senior level students.

This
course is recommended for students who are highly motivated,
have a particular interest in biology and the natural sciences,
and want to gain a solid foundation for success in future
courses in biology. This course is taught using Blackboard and
Live Meeting video conferencing. Periodic face-to-face lab
sessions will be scheduled during the school year. Students
enrolling in this course will receive a laptop computer to use
while enrolled in the course. |

This course, taught by an Academy instructor, will be available online.
This is a college level course in which students successfully completing
the AP exam (score of 3 or higher) can earn college credit. The focus
of this course is to provide students with a foundation in the
conceptual framework, factual knowledge, and analytical skills needed in
college. face-to-face meeting with the instructor will be required
once each six weeks. |
