Digital Media I is a project-based course that allows students
to creatively express themselves through web design, digitalized
graphics and audio, print media, digitalized still and motion
video, computer animation, and other newly emerging forms of
digital media. Students completing this course will earn an
industry-based certification as an Adobe Certified Associate in
one or more of the following Adobe Photoshop, Flash, or
Dreamweaver. For more information about this certification,

Digital Media

Prerequisite: Digital Media I |
Digital Media II is a continuation of Digital Media I, expanding
upon students' visual design abilities and technical skills.
Some material covered in this course includes designing for 2D,
motion graphic design, audio/visual communication, and interface
design. Students work on animations, action scripting, 3D
modeling/animation, advanced web design, and print media
designs. There is a strong focus on students providing project
and team management services to the school, school system,
community and to other students, fostering a real-world business
atmosphere in the classroom. Students must complete 25 hours of
teacher-approved work in addition to the instructional time. |

introductory course in the steps involved in planning, developing,
designing, and maintaining a web page. This course meets hour per
day for the full year.. Prerequisite: Introduction to BCA. Open to

An intermediate level course in Web Design. Students will work with
links, create forms and tables, and images, as well as multimedia
objects. Students will create digital portfolios. Students will
have the opportunity to certify as a Certified Internet
Webmaster associate through CIW. For more information
