Pharmacy Technician Pharmacy Technician #009494 (two full credits) This course is primarily a computer-based instructional class. Students completing this course will be eligible to test as a Pharmacy Tech and will be able to assist in a pharmacy. There is a state testing fee required as part of this class. Prerequisite: Chemistry 1, an ACT score of 20, and must be eighteen (18) years old by October 1 of the year they graduate. Forensic Sciences #A09360 (one full credit) This course will explore the history of forensic science, methods of investigating a crime scene, types of evidence, analysis of fingerprints, hair, fibers, drugs, soil, and blood. In addition, students will study agencies that offer forensic services, typical forensic labs and careers in forensic science. The class will include labs, text readings, and readings of forensic science journals and videos. This class meets one hour each day for the full year. Students scheduling this class should also schedule Pharmacy Technician. |
