Networking Basics Networking Basics is the first part of the extensive study of computer networking. This class builds a basic foundation for a career in the networking industry. Students will cover objectives for the CompTIA Network + exam and begin covering objectives for Cisco CCNA exam. This is a hands-on class where students will develop skills necessary to design, maintain and troubleshoot computer networks.
Routers and Routing Basics Routers and Routing Basics picks up where networking basics ends. This class is more focused on detailed networking fundamentals as well as designing and maintaining more complex networks. This course will cover objectives to cover the Cisco CCNA certification. This class is hands-on and students will configure routers, switches, networked computers and students will also troubleshoot faulty networks.
