Louisiana History and Theatre (Louisiana History is for middle school credit. Theatre would count as elective high school credit awarded after 24 credits are earned on the high school campus) This eighth grade history course offers an intricate, detailed study of Louisiana’s growth and development from it’s first occupants to the present day. This course will incorporate details of Louisiana’s history with the inclusion of the fine arts, visual arts, and the performing arts. The students will investigate, research, and act out Louisiana’s history. Open to eighth grade students only with the recommendation of their principal and counselor.
