Requirements for Credit Recovery/Eligibility:

1. Failed or failing a course with a grade between 50 and 59
2. Denial of credit as a result of absenteeism.
3. Desire to catch up.
4. Classroom teacher recommendation
5. Parental and school system permission
6. Extenuating circumstances as approved by the district

Maintaining Eligibility:

1. Appropriate attendance
2. Sustained progress
3. Appropriate behavior in credit recovery and the classroom

Credit recovery is self paced, however:

• Initial assessments should take no more than two hours
• Each lesson and submission should be completed in about two hours
• Students must take notes on the lessons and have them approved by the instructor before beginning a submission
• Students will be enrolled in only one course at a time and complete lessons and submissions in the proper sequence
• Final assessments should be completed in about two hours
• Extended time opportunities will be available if appropriate
