Welcome to my website. I work in three different areas with high schools throughout the parish. Those areas are: Credit Recovery, Graduation Coach, and Virtual Learning.

CREDIT RECOVERY:  Credit recovery allows students who do not pass a course to make up that credit through an online program. Credit recovery is available at all of the parish high schools and at the Prien Lake Mall through the Simon Foundation and the Career Center. GRADUATION COACHES: Graduation coaches are available in four high schools to assist students in reaching their goal of graduating from high school on time. Currently graduation coaches are available to help students at Barbe, LaGrange, Sulphur, and Washington Marion high schools. To learn more about the graduation coaches and their roles click here.

DISTANCE LEARNING: At the Academy we facilitate many Louisiana Virtual School courses for the parish, particularly in the summer when local facilitators are not available. Students who are interested must get permission from their home school and have a form sent to LCBAL with the request. The form must include the student’s social security number in order to be enrolled. Students who enroll in the summer will be required to meet at the Academy weekly to report on their progress.
